As an Australian Youth Ambassidor for Development working in China, I worked on developing new systems, and enhancing infrastructure by utilizing my skills as a BSD administrator. We acheived all the goals set by Ausaid 3 months early, and began working on new ways to help the organisation achieve more from the web.

designed this software to fill a gap in windows based log analysis for
proxy servers, due to popular demand I have added new features,
increased user friendlyness, and added log formats to the application.

Developed a BSD development system for developing and testing web applications.
Designed
a BSD/Mailman based Mailing list server that handles all the mailing
lists for the organisation with stability, speed, and security,
scanning all email for viruses using open source software.
I am currently maintaining all of the above systems.
Architected
and designed 2 Web Applications for the 2004 and 2005 National General
Assemly, which ran hundreds of online registrations and purchases.
Designed contact management software for transfer of contacts from an Exchange server, to a MySQL server.

BSD and Windows servers for 8 offices. These servers provide file
sharing, DNS, Internet access, proxy cache, Database, Terminal
Services, VPN, firewall, backup, offsite backup.
I am currently maintaing the above systems remotely.

Developed a BSD based mailing list server. This allowed the organisation to have as many mailing lists as they required without costing them any money.

Maintained all of the internal and the organisations clients whilst the head engineer took long service leave for 2 months.

My role in the orgnisation was to relieve the managers durning the evenings and on the weekends, this involved knowledge of how the organisation worked, and knowledge of all the roles of people in the department, and helping various departments during busy periods.
